Agent Spotlight: Peter Ahn

The Muljat Group office is filled with an amazing team of agents who make coming to work every single day a blast! Since many of you can’t come to work with us, we thought we’d give you a chance to get to know some of our agents on a more personal or some might call “unusual” level.

Stick around for the weeks to come because each “Agent Spotlight” will feature a new agent or team member from the Muljat Group office. We’ll be asking all the pressing questions to give you an inside look at our fun, loving, and unusual team. But this won’t be your typical interview because to be honest, we like to do things a little different around here.

Let’s start with the basics:

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

“My name is Peter Ahn and I am a father of three (soon to be four) boys and husband to a beautiful and smart woman, Lydia.  I am a 16+ year Air Force veteran and WWU graduate in manufacturing engineering. I coach youth sports and stay actively involved with multiple boards and non-profit organizations.”

Where are you from?

“Los Angeles”

How long have you been with the Muljat Group?

” Two years”

Now onto the fun questions:

If you could pick a new first name, what would it be?

“Raphael, like the Ninja Turtle”

Do you have a weird or unique talent that not many know about?

“Yes, I can sell homes very quickly.”

What was your dream job when you were 5 years old?

“To be a Ninja Turtle, but live above ground.”

If you could be best friends with anyone, dead or alive, who would that be and why?

Kevin Eastman, the creator of Ninja Turtles. So I can have him add me as the 5th turtle/brother but, I wouldn’t wear a mask/eye cover because Foot Soldiers and Shredder should see my face when I’m kicking their butts.”

What’s the weirdest/coolest dream you’ve ever had?

I found a flat duck (like paper thin) at a boat dock. When I approached it, there was the voice of a young girl inside of it and she asked for my help. All she wanted to to do was let her family know she was stuck inside the flat duck. I spent the rest of my dream looking for her family in a village and was able to find them. When I informed her mother, she burst into tears and hugged me. When I woke up, I reminded myself to never drink Diet Dr. Pepper before bed.”

What movie is your all-time favorite that you would have loved to star in?

“Interstellar, but I would not want to be the lead role. I’d want to star as the planet they find that helps save humanity.”

QUICK! What’s the last picture/text you sent to someone on your phone?

What is the strangest thing that has ever happened to you?

“Nothing is strange to me.”

If you could go anywhere in the Universe right now where would you go and what would you do there?

Brodo Asogi (E.T.’s home planet). E.T. and I would go around the universe in his spaceship with a case of Diet Dr. Pepper. I’ll probably bring along a bicycle with a cute basket attached to the handle bar for us to travel around in at each planet. I’ll carry E.T. and some business cards in it.”
